The Foundations of Workplace Culture for Sr. Leaders
Tackling big problems, continuously learning and adapting, and admitting when we were wrong, this is risky business. We must have strong workplace communities that understand the importance of building and maintaining high trust. These foundations of community and trust allow us to be our best selves at work and accept others for exactly who they are.
This session introduces the two most fundamental aspects of workplace culture, Community and Trust, designed explicitly for Sr. Leaders. By the end of this session, you will have a shared understanding of what these components are and are not, why they are essential, and how they interact with and support your mission, vision and values. You will gain clear insights into past instances in your organizational and personal experience of how and when community and trust can set us up for performance or hold us back and create immense inefficiency while also eroding the health of teams and individuals.
In the context of building belonging, trust and community are pre-conditions. The community serves as both a place to belong and fosters places of belonging in the groups that you serve. High trust helps provide the psychological safety that lets us take the risk of being our whole selves and accepting others for everything that they are.
This session is not a passive lecture but an interactive seminar. It combines the delivery of new knowledge with ample opportunities for discussion and reflective activities. This more dynamic format sparks further conversation, deepens your understanding of the workshop's key concepts, and follows the group's interests.
